This LightLance™ family of laser skin perforators, which includes personal and point-of-care devices, is patented and fully FDA cleared.

Aesthetic laser devices were developed and clinically tested between 1996 and 2000, with various approvals from international health ministries in the late 1990’s and FDA clearances achieved in 2001 and 2004. These clinically proven lasers employ gold-standard modalities – Er:YAG (2940nm) as well as standard and Q-switched Nd:YAG (1064nm) – a versatile family of products that cover most aesthetic laser procedures. The company’s aesthetic lasers are packaged in the unique and patented LightPod™ system which utilizes air, rather than water, to continuously cool the internal laser emitter; this innovative breakthrough enabled the design of a laser system that is compact, portable and maintenance-free, also inherently less costly to manufacture and therefore more affordable.
